I would be glad to give my short testimony. I grew up in the church, and at the age of 14, I gave my life to the Lord. Slowly as I got older, I started to drift away from the Lord and my relationship with Jesus. I made some bad choices going through the next several years, and got involved in alcohol use, smoking cigarettes, hanging out in the bars, ect. I got married and I lived for myself and my wants the whole 10 years of my first marriage. Sadly I went through a very painful divorce at that time. I was forced to do some real soulsearching at this time. This was the lowest point in my life, and because of choices that I had made in my life, I was drownding in my sin. I realized I was in trouble, and at that time I cried out to the Lord to help me. I vowed that if he would come to my rescue I would follow him, it was that simple. God knew my heart, and he starting helping me transform. He brought me a good Spirit filled Christian woman, and he put us in a Spirit filled church, and surrounded me with a couple of men that I had known all my life, one of which was the Pastor. He was a very straightforward, truth speaking preacher that made me really reexamine what I actually knew about Jesus Christ? He brought to my attention how bad we need the baptism of the Holy Ghost in our lives! My mind was being renewed, transformed, I was being borned again, all old things were being cast away. I was in fact a new creation in Christ. I started experiencing the power of Jesus Christ in my life, God restored so many things that the enemy had stolen from me. I payed a very heavy price for straying away from Jesus. Sin has a price folks, there is no doudt about that. But praise God he came not to condenm us, but to save us, that we may have an abundent life. I have been married to my 2nd wife now for 15 years. God has blessed me with 2 wonderful sons, and 2 Grandsons. My life is awesome, and it is all because of Jesus!If you are mired down in sin, that same Jesus is there, He will help you, cry out to Him, and He will save you, He will set you free, all power and glory has been given unto Him.
